Particularly during the first four weeks of the season with Edelman away thanks to his suspension, it'll be on Rob Gronkowski, James White, Rex Burkhead and Jacob Hollister to carry a good chunk of the load in the passing game. While this is hardy the unit that will strike fear into opposing secondaries, the Tom Brady and the Patriots passing attack should still be a formidable one thanks to the pass catcher that aren't wide receivers. Now New England's crop of receivers is led by Julian Edelman, who'll be suspended for the first four games, Chris Hogan, Cordarrelle Patterson, Phillip Dorsett and, for the moment, Eric Decker along with some more unproven pass catchers. The release of Kenny Britt on Wednesday now makes it three wide outs to depart Foxboro due to injury this summer with Malcolm Mitchell and Jordan Matthews suffering a similar fate. The Patriots receiving unit seems like they're in the midst of their own version of The Hunger Games.
